January 22nd - 24th, 2010 participate in voice expert Ann Skinner’s famous workshop  “Speaking with Our True Voice”.  In this workshop she will assist us to experience our true voice from a centre of stillness, with a rooted breath and a connected sound. Ann is a founding member of BodySoul Rhythms® Intensive Programs with Marion Woodman and Mary Hamilton, a former Head of Voice at Canada's Stratford Shakespearean Festival and the National Theatre School of Canada. Saturday, May 1st 2010, 1:00-4:30 P.M. Neil Douglas-Klotz will present “The Aramaic Jesus and the Sufis: Shared Paths of the Heart”. This half-day workshop will explore the shared prayers and meditations of the heart that connect the Aramaic Jesus and the Sufis. As part of the journey, Neil will share stories, meditation and body prayer, including a number of new Dances of Universal Peace inspired by his recent work. EVENSONGS OF THE SOUL: Chant and Cello in Concert Improvisations” with David Darling and Norma Gentile - Fresh from winning the 2010 Grammy for Best New Age Album, eclectic composer/cellist David Darling joins with vocalist and sound shaman Norma Gentile in two evenings of spontaneous music-making. On Sept. 17th, 2010 over 300 people came to hear Marianne Williamson and Andrew Harvey deliver an inspiring foray into their current perspectives on "Love in Action" with separate presentations, an informative dialogue and sensitive responses to excellent questions from the audience. Marianne is a best selling author, acclaimed spiritual teacher and humanist who champions the causes of the hungry, deprived and under privileged in our world.  One of her many #1 New York Times Best Sellers (Return to Love) set the stage for contemporary seekers with her famous insight "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure".  Andrew Harvey is an acclaimed mystic and passionate spiritual leader, prolific author and activist who has recently founded The Institute for Sacred Activism in Chicago. Sacred Activism is a fusion of mystical knowledge, peace and passion with clear wise urgent action in every area of the world. On Sept. 18th, 2010  78 people came to hear Marianne Williamson and Andrew Harvey present a day long workshop “Love in Action”. The workshop developed the themes from their talk the night before and provided insight and direction for putting into action an awakened consciousness of the current urgent world situation. Their friendship and mutual respect resonated through their presentation providing a rare and rich opportunity of spiritual and intellectual depth with practical wisdom. The workshop was held at The Cutten Club, 190 College Ave. E., Guelph $195 incl. HST and a light lunch.

On Oct. 3rd, 2010,  Christine Bretherick  taught  a delightfully successful workshop “Creative, Playful Finger Puppets: an Expressive Arts Workshop for Adults”. Christine, an accomplished Guelph artist, teacher and an experienced adult educator, shared the puppet making process naturally and enthusiastically. Her skills allowed the participants to give form to their own inner creative world with respect for the silence and space needed with just the right amount of direction. The workshop was held at  St. Brigid’s Villa ,Ignatius Jesuit Centre, Guelph     $56.50 incl. HST and supplies.

On Nov. 26th, 2010, Stephen Jenkinson  gave an engaging talk called “First You Make the Cooking Pot, Then You Make the Feast: Conjuring a Village from Modern Loneliness”. It was about our relationship with death and was held at Harcourt United Church, 87 Dean Ave., Guelph. ON       $20.00 incl. HST.

On Nov. 27th-Nov.28th, 2010 he presented a deeply moving workshop “Grief and Grief’s Twin: How Your Dying Cradles Your Love of Being Alive”. It was held at St. Brigid’s Villa, Ignatius Jesuit Centre, Guelph, ON     $190 incl. HST

On Nov. 28th, 2010 he introduced the NFB film “Griefworker”, a documentary about his work, and responded to questions from an interested audience for one and a half hours following the screening. It was shown at the Bookshelf Cinema, 51 Quebec Street, Guelph, ON. $20.00 incl. HST
